      North Valley RTC is a club organization developed to support, promote and grow the sport of wrestling.  As a youth wrestling club, we provide coaching and detailed instruction on how to compete in the sport of wrestling, from novice to experienced wrestlers, from grades K-Adult.  Instruction is provided by certified coaches, trained to coach the sport in a safe environment through positive reinforcement.  Additionally, the club participates in select local, regional and national tournaments allowing for continued growth through competition.  Teaming with local schools, instruction and coaching is provided through regularly scheduled practices utilizing appropriately equipped facilities.   

Provide Year Round Wrestling for ALL ages:

• Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer seasons

Adult Wrestling Classes (18+)

• Help us normalize recreational wrestling for Adults!

Wrestling functions through RTC Events:

• FREE 'Friday Night Scraps'  (Summer seasons only)
• Fundraising tournaments for High School programs
• Host local USA Wrestling tournaments

Create a Middle School wrestling team:

• Not all Arizona school districts offer elementary or middle school wrestling
• Attend team competitions  (ex.  JH State Tournament)

Club based Fundraising & Sponsorships:

• Club Gear (shirts, shorts, singlets & warmups)

      In 2005, the North Valley Misfits was formed as a means for school aged wrestlers to get additional practice time, as well providing exposure to different styles of wrestling.  After 15+ years of service, we asked some of the other local high school clubs around our neighborhood to join forces, forming the North Valley RTC.  TOGETHER, we can better support the sport of wrestling in our community and beyond.

      What that means, is that we are able to provide a higher level of wrestling instruction and provide more exposure to the different styles of wrestling.  It is our firm belief that exposure to both Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling makes for a better all around wrestler.  We have had many wrestlers place at the Arizona State Tournaments; qualify for the Western Regional Tournament and the National Tournament in Fargo, North Dakota.  We look forward to continued growth and success as the North Valley RTC takes its place as one of the premier wrestling clubs in Arizona and beyond. 

      We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  Primary funding is provided through season registration fees.  Funding is used to pay for operating expenses which include our USAW charter, liability insurance, facility/custodial fees, the purchase of athlete merchandise, and limited coaching stipends.  100% of our efforts support the activities which further the exempt status of fostering national or international amateur sports competition.
